Club Purpose

•  Provide a riding facility for all ages/abilities and for all equestrian disciplines
   

• For our facilities to be open and freely available to our members
   

• To create an Environment where all members can enjoy their horses and ponies in a friendly and supportive environment which encourages riding as a recreation
   

• To organize monthly events to help encourage and improve our members abilities and confidence
   

• A community minded Group that is run by a Committee of Volunteers

Club Membership

1. The Annual membership fee is due on 1 January each year.  CEG year is 1 January to 31 December. Membership consists of people who have paid the appropriate fee for that current year.
    

2. Membership form is to be submitted to the Cust Equestrian Group Committee who shall then assess the membership application. The Committee reserves the right to accept or reject a member application.
    

3. In signing and submitting a membership form to the Committee for membership consideration, you confirm that, if your membership is accepted, you will;
    

• Adhere to the attached H&S Policy
   

• Comply with any reasonable request which may be made from time to time by the Committee or any Committee Member
   

• Not share the gate code with any other person
   

• Attend at least one working bee or end of month event
   

• Help set up and put away poles or other objects after end of month rallys

1. Membership Categories:
   Single – Family - Junior– Non-Riding Associate Member Fee as set each year at the AGM.
    

2. Membership funds are used throughout the year to maintain the existing facilities and assist in creating new obstacles and running of the end of month events.
    

3. Any casual users must adhere to our H&S Plan, the CEG Rules and be accompanied by a current Member. The fee of $10 per rider is payable to the CEG for any casual use and must be paid to [ANZ 01 0877 0117926 11 within 2 days from the time the casual user has ridden on/used the CEG grounds.
    

4. All personal information obtained from the membership form will only be used for purposes of the Cust Equestrian Group unless prior approval from the member is gained.
    

5. Any activity or behaviour deemed by the Committee to be a risk to any person or animal or a detriment to the CEG or not abide by the purpose and rules of the CEG, may result in the cancellation of membership and any/all future use of the CEG grounds, such decision will be at the Committee’s sole discretion. No refund shall be provided if membership is cancelled.​
